Why a pontoon can't make a wave
It comes down to physics. Wakesurfing needs a deep, clean, rideable wave — and that's created by a heavy boat sitting low in the water with weighted ballast tanks and a surf system. Pontoons are light, flat-decked, and ride high. Great for a relaxed day; impossible to surf behind.
