Is there a minimum number of hours to rent the boat?

Most groups book a 2 to 4 hour block. A typical captained half-day is about 3 hours. Lessons run as a 2-hour-minimum session for up to 8 people. Reach out if you want a full day on the water and we'll put a block together.

What does the price include, and what costs extra?

The hourly rate includes the 2023 Tige Z3, all the surfboards and wakeboards, a tube, life jackets for your whole group, ropes and handles, delivery to your lake, and free on-water coaching on captained trips. The only thing charged separately is gas, billed at cost after your trip. There are no gear fees, no captain surcharge beyond the $275 rate, and no hidden add-ons.

How much does gas cost on a Wake rental?

Gas is billed at cost based on how much fuel you actually use, which typically runs about $15-25 per hour of boating depending on how hard the boat works. For a 3-hour captained trip you'd usually see roughly $45-75 in gas on top of the $825 rate. We tell you up front so there's no surprise at the end of the day.

Is Wake cheaper than other DFW wakesurf rentals?

For a captained premium surf boat, yes. Wake is $275/hour with all the gear included. A comparable DFW operator charges $300/hour (2-hour minimum) plus separate equipment fees, and sells lessons at $400/hour. Wake's captain coaches first-timers for free as part of the trip, so a beginner family doesn't pay a lesson premium.
